New features in the app:
- SMARTpark: Find Parking: easily find a free parking spot with PARKPARK. You can see the likelihood right now of finding a free parking space on streets and roads in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg, and Aarhus.
- Automatic license plate recognition: The easiest for you as a driver. Your license plate is automatically read when you enter, and you receive a message that we have started your parking. When you exit, your license plate is read again. You automatically pay for the time you park, and we account for, for example, the first hour being free at many places.
- See alternative parking spots nearby. Click on your position to see other parking options nearby.

PARKPARK removes frustrations with SmartPark.
First of all, as mentioned, we are the cheapest app to use. Next, with the latest technology that Big Data and AI allow, we have added new functions:
- SmartPark: Find Parking: easily find a free parking space with PARKPARK
You can see the probability here and now of finding a free parking space on streets and roads in Copenhagen, Frederiksberg and Aarhus.
- SmartPark: Automatic Stop Parking: you automatically receive a notification to stop parking when you finish at your parking space, when you simply connect PARKPARK with your phone's Bluetooth connection to the car.
- Automatic number plate reading: More and more car parks are introducing automatic number plate reading, and it is also the absolute easiest for you as a motorist. Your number plate is automatically read when you drive in, and you get a message that we have read it and started your parking. When you drive out, your number plate is read again. You automatically pay for the time you park, and we take into account that many places are e.g. the first hour is free.

In this version, we have worked on easier switching between Private accounts and Business accounts.
The smart thing is that now it is even easier to use PARKPARK for business use, where the company pays for the parking on a specified bill, while you can use the app privately when you have to pay for your parking yourself.
Remember PARKPARK also supports Apple Car Play.

PARKPARK regularly releases new versions of the app. We constantly improve and optimize so that functionality and user experience is the best possible.
We use automatic positioning of the phone to find the parking space you are in, but this of course requires you have granted the access to the position. But we only use it when the app is in use.
In this version of the app, we have improved the information in case location is not turned on.

We have also tightened up the UI and design around the payment flow in the app.

In this latest version of the PARKPARK app, there is a new improved on-boarding flow for new customers. New customers can look around in the app before top-up and parking.
Under PARK +, we are now launching self-drive vacation in collaboration with Happydays. Check it out! There are really good prices for PARKPARK customers.
Some customers have not been able to see an ongoing car park, so a 'Refresh' button has now been added and a click on it will update parkings.
For business customers, it is now possible to log in using a text message.

In this brand-new version of the PARKPARK app, we have introduced a new information banner that easily guides you through the new functions we have in the app. In addition, we have cleaned up in the layout of Settings to improve the user experience and finally we have added a button to make easier also to order parking reminders by SMS.

In this latest version of the PARKPARK app, v. 5.7.0, we launch yet another PARK+ service: Menupay.
Menupay is a micro subscription that gives you up to a 25% discount at over 550 restaurants, bistros and takeaway places in Denmark. Read more about Menupay on PARKPARK.dk under PARK+.
In addition, we have improved the start-parking page so that it is even more logical to use, and we have made it necessary for Order Management customers to enter the order number.

In version 5.5.0 you no longer need to swipe to start your parking, you can now simply click the green button instead. We introduce PARK + which gives lots of optional benefits for PARKPARK customers. We are initially launching EatMyBill, which will help you if you should be unlucky enough to get a parking ticket. But keep an eye on PARK +, because there will be lots of benefits here during the spring. Reminder-settings we have moved up in Settings in the main Menu.

Now version 5.2.0 of the PARKPARK parking app is launched. We continue to improve and optimize the app with bi-weekly updates.
In this version we have improved the display of the active parking spaces. It especially helps those users who have more than one car added to the app. Similarly, we have made it even easier to add a credit card and improved the user experience.
Finally, you can now start an ANPR parking (automatic license plate reading) manually. This is a help for those users who are already in an ANPR parking lot and are new users of PARKPARK.

PARKPARK is continuously updated with new functionality and improved user-friendliness. In version 5.1.1 we have added a field at the top of the map. It shows very clearly which parking zone you are in and can park in.
We have optimized the layout for add/edit car, so your car and its colour have better visibility. Set end-time has been improved in ease of use, it is clearer whether you have chosen manual or automatic top-up and we have changed the colour of your active parking.
In addition, we have corrected some minor errors and secured faster updating of card and balance.
